Lots of pale, bready, grainy malts up front with some big yeasty notes and some juicy peach flesh. Mouth feel is larger than I expected, carb is good. Low bitterness, yeasty and fruity, peach is there but hard to find at times. Sometimes very subtle, sometimes upfront. To me this is a flavoured Belgian ale, not a saison.

650 ml bottle. Pours a thick cloudy orange amber. Aromas of burnt fruit which could be peach. Flavors of dark esters, earth and more burnt fruit. Absolutely horrible.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters from the Belgian yeast, some citrus zest and floral notes - way too estery. Flavour confirms this, with nastily artificial and cloying peach notes, fruity esters from the yeast and some phenols. Messy and just incorrectly brewed. Way too sweet and artificial tasting. Not good.

Bomber from Albertsons. Hazy orange, amber body with initial high foamy head. Head fades to small coating. Aroma leans on the Saison side, grainy, musty, while the peaches appear in the taste but and follow through to the finish. Medium weight body offers the right feel to the whole package. This actually picks up a bit as it warms.
