Bottle split at Level 42, 24/05/16. Gusher alert - not a good sign for a 4 % SIPA! Hazed golden blonde with a moderate off white cap - once the excitement had died down. Nose is tangerine, orange wine gums, light bread, touch of hop drool, straw. Taste comprises mineral notes, tangerine, light peppery spice, straw, grain. Medium bodied, prickly mouthfeel and way overcarbonated - I’d never have guessed, semi drying close with a light hop dusting. Average fayre at best.

Bright clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and finely minerally crisp. Bitterish orange and tangerine peel. Mild pith. Touches of tinned tropical fruits and grapefruit. Dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Dry and thin but liking the hoppy fruity vibe.

Cask at Croydon Craft 2016. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, bitter - sweet, tangerine, stewed orange, brioche, tinned peach and cereal. The taste is bitter, orange, tangerine, peppery spice, pithy, tinned fruits, floral action with a lingering orange peel finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. OK.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a fine, filmy white cream head. The nose holds dry, rindy citrus fruits, pale bread, hay. Light sweet flavor with more rindy bitterness, mellow grass, dry pale bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with light resin, Rindy citrus, dried pale malts. Slight minerality. Pretty good going overall.
