Big pounder can as pictured for $2.50 at house of 1000 in warrendale, nice place. Slight choco malt nose. This flavored stuff is big and black as well as large and in charge. Boozy from the start. Large foamy and creamy tan head fades after a few minutes. Interesting flavors of coffee and dark chocolate abound yet its not over the top. Charred bitter chocolate peaks through in the middle. Weird stuff these choco stouts. Pretty good carbonation for a strong stout and I like that, its kind of creamy and cutting as a result. The co2 takes my mind off the volatility of this stuff. Yes, old burnt damp campfire wood flavors tend to sneak in on the finish. Yes, in the end, I find this to be better than expected; I was expecting some kindah cloying brew but this stuff did not disappoint. Did not feel much like over 6% during eh session but now I think I'm gitten just a little bit dizzy, heheeh! One of the better imperial stouts I've had for a long time.
