We love brewing West Coast IPAs and appreciate how well they work in beautifully conditioned cask beer. Rattlesnake is a great example of this and its absolutely packed with classic hops from the USA, the aroma is all grapefruit and pine leading to a fantastic display of flavour across the palate with lemon, melon and lychee all coming to the fore. It's perfectly balanced with a malty sweetness in the body, and a refreshing bitter bite to finish.

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at The Wharf in Aalborg. A pearl white head over a close to clear amber coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Aroma of ripe citrus, mid-sweet. Taste of orange shells and caramel with nuances of berries, slightly marmalade impression. Rounded bittersweet ending. Fine depth. Tasty and likable. (15.08.2017).

Cask at Beer Hunters. Amber-copper color, good white head, lace. Rusty, fruity, earthy aroma. Medium-bodied. Riped fruits, spicey bitterness. Malty. Sweetish front. Not the typical Thornbridge.

(Cask at Craft Beer Islington, London, 23 April 2016) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with tropical fruit, peaches, candy sugar and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, caramel, citrus and a generous citric, slightly grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Plenty of malt to back up a good hop presence. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
