Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee, brown bread, buttery biscuit and faint orange. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - toffee, light orange and brown bread. Taste - orange, toffee and bread again. Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture. Balanced finish. Overall - good example of the style.

15/2/2020. Bottle from Booths, Kendal; courtesy of saxo and Rasmus40, cheers! Poured clear dark gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, grass, butter and caramel. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Slight watery texture.

Bottle thanks to Rasmus and Saxo: Poured a golden with fluffy white head. Aroma is grain. Taste is grain and malts, sweet finish.

[ As Appleby Senior Moment ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity tart, nutty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008] 6-3-5-3-11
