375ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Woody, fruity aroma, notes of mirabelle, nectarine, some peach, hints of apricot, the furry character of all those fruits seems to be transmitted in the nose via a certain mildewy-spicy touch, cautious oaky, vinous overtones, a touch of frozen strawberry, a minimally waxy touch. Taste is dry, tart, fruity, minimally musty and woody, hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of green wood, unripe gooseberry, frozen strawberry. cautious tannic, vinous, woody overtones, a minimally waxy touch. Slightly restricted strawberry flavours (no sweetness), nice, if slightly ephemeral yellow stone fruit flavours, a restricted, still supportive, vinous touch. Quite complex and diversified, nowhere tedious.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/28B). Bottle 37.5 ml - Batch 002 (BBF unknown - Bottled on 25.06.2016). AROMA: medium wild yeast notes with a phenolic component (slightly plastic), and slight barnyard. medium-low to low strawberry aroma. low malt background , neutral, with a slight sweet character. APPEARANCE: gold color and slightly hazy. medium white moussy head, with average retention. TASTE: initial phenolic flavor with a slight plastic character, followed by an acidic note (lactic in character). low malt background, slightly grainy, with a faint strawberry note. low bitterness with acidic taking its place. Finish is dry, acidic, with faint notes of grains and strawberries. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a fruit sour ale, a bit with too much phenolic presence.
