Cask at the Greyhound (JDW), Maidenhead. Golden amber with a thin white head; fruity aroma; sweet malty body, then sour with an under-ripe grapefruit citrus taste that somewhat spoils the finish.

Cask @ Up Steps Inn, Oldham. Clear copper gold in colour, with a metallic taste to match. Its aroma is similar with a malty base. It’s a bit like a Hornby train set that’s been running too long.
