Batch #4
A remarkable fusion of styles, this unique brew combines wild barrel-aged saison, Flanders red ale fermented with succulent Marionberries, and crisp lager. Each element contributes to a rich tapestry of flavors that evolve beautifully over time. After blending, the beer rested on an impressive 5,000 pounds of whole Washington blueberries in a French oak foeder for an extended 9 weeks, allowing the flavors to meld and mature. The result is nothing short of stunning: as you pour, it reveals a deep, royal purple hue that captivates the eye. On the nose, bold berry jam aromas burst forth, inviting you to dive in. The taste is a delightful interplay of tartness and sweetness, with each sip showcasing the vibrant essence of the blueberries and marionberries. The wild fermentation adds layers of complexity, while the oak imparts a subtle creaminess that balances the fruit's bright acidity. With over 4 pounds of fruit per gallon, this beer is a celebration of Washington’s bounty, delivering an explosion of berry flavor that lingers on the palate. Perfect for warm days or as a refreshing companion to savory dishes, this blend invites you to savor its intricate character and enjoy the delightful dance of fruit and fermentation.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a deep dark red with a small pink-tinged head. Aroma brings out lots of tart jammy berries, some blueberry, wild yeast, and some oak. Flavour is very jammy, with lots of wild yeast, jammy berries, and some oak. Jammy, buggy, and well-balanced. Excellent.
