33cl can from Systembolaget webbeställning - picked up in Visby. Pours close to pitch black with a tanned head. Roasty and hoppy with notes of licorice, pine, dark dried fruits and hints of dark chocolate and citrus. Moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and bitterness somewhat on the lighter side. Surprisingly mild, and easy to drink. Smooth and enjoyable.

Can, at Duggfrisk. Almost black in the glass, with a nice beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is roasted and citrusy, with caramel, generic fruityness, some dried fruits and resin and a good dash of pine cones. It's full-bodied and smooth, a bit on the sweet side for a Black IPA, but not really sweet, with roasted malts, citrus and lots of pine cones in the flavor. Decent bitterness as well as resin, caramel and dried fruits. Lasting finish. A bit too roasted for the style I think, but just a little bit. A nice beer for sure. 170818

Superficial festival at Duggfrisk 2017. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice, dense, lacing beige head. Lovely aroma of dark malt and fruity hops. More fruit and less pine compared with most other BIPA. Flavor is medium sweet, smooth dark mat, light roasted, fruity hops, more pine in flavor than expected from aroma and good bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting, nice aftertaste. All in all a very balanced and tasty BIPA that mostly on the fruity side of hoppy.
