Cask at the Rose Street Brewery in Edinburgh. Pours gold with a creamy white head. aroma is lightly spicy melon. Flavor is floral/melon with a little earth and a little spice. Bitter and refreshing. Quite pleasant.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Stewart Jack Back ].Clear light to medium pale yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity - tropical fruit - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, sweet malt, hoppy, fruity - tropcial fruit - citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151007] 6-2-7-3-15

Keg at the Guildford Arms - Edinburgh. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Lovely pithy citrus with accents of dry lemon and grapefruit. Light sweet flavor with more pithy citrus, zesty lemon, grapefruit, mild bitter grass and hay, dry pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Super clean to finish, dry and pithy, with quick gapedruit, melon and lemon, along with mild bitter rind. An excellent session IPA.
