Bottle from Aldi. It pours golden yellow with a small foamy white cap. The aroma is some spice, cereal, peanut husk, lemon curd, grapefruit, lime and lemongrass. The taste is initially dry, quite light, bitter - sweet, biscuit, pithy, some light grapefruit, lime, a bit peppery, grassy and slightly soapy with a dry, slightly citrusy finish. Light body and fine carbonation. It's OK, drinkable enough but lacks a bit of punch really. 2.9 Earlier Rating: 3/1/2019 Total Score: 3.1 Bottle at home. It pours hazy orange with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, tangerine, orange marmalade, muffin and some gummy bears. The taste is crisp, dry, limited bitterness, tangerine, zesty, marmalade, gummy bears, midget gems and some oiliness. Dry, orange peel finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Would be better with a touch more bitterness and carbonation to lift it. Not bad. Earlier Rating: 7/25/2014 Total Score: 3.2 Cask at Bow Bar. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is straw, grain, grassy, dough, malt loaf and some citrus peel. The taste is bitter, toasted grain, lemon, grapefruit, biscuit and some florals with a dry, citric finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Solid.
