Can at the cotteridge convention bottle share. Thanks to cheese board. A mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is grassy dank, mealy,, grassy, waxy, green citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, loose wheat, citrus, pine, grassy, buttery grains, moderate carbonation. Decent.

Not Cotts 23. Aroma is citrusy. Hazy-opaque gold. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Tart citrus and resin. More malty into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. OK.

Gravity cask at the Townhouse 2017 Beer Festival, Ely. Dark gold, mostly clear, with a tiny off-white head. Scent is a bit weird: stewed tea, canned pineapples, papaya, mothballs, a touch of potpourri. I really dig the taste, however: bittersweet and substantial. Bitterness takes over in the latter part of the sip with a long face-screwing-up bitter finish. Thick oily body. Decent enough recipe but a bit unwieldy, and even with a half pint I find it wearing.
