500ml bottle at 5.7%. Pours reddy brown with a medium frothy head. Aroma is slightly sour bready malts with a little cherry. Taste has sour woody cherry throughout, touch of red wine on the finish.

Bottle from Appleyards Deli, Shrewsbury, Saturday 25th August 2012 consumed the same day outside Frank (camper) at Shrewsbury Folk Festival. Pours dark reddy/brown, didn’t notice much of a head. Not as sharp or tart as I expected or hoped and therefore I think that the Old Ale was more prominent than the cherry addition. However tasty and very suppable, I was however shocked at the strength, as it really didn’t taste this strong. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3
