Available March 2016 - Brewed with a new experimental British hop Press Gang is a light and crisp with a gentle citrus flavour. A refreshing golden ale perfect for those hot summer days. The press-gangs would travel to pubs, and drop shillings into the beer mugs of hapless victims. When the victim got to the bottom of their beer, they would find the king's shilling, and the press-gang waiting for them outside to drag them off.

Cask hand pull at the ledger building Jdw. A dark orange amber coloured pour with a fading halo of white head. Aroma is subdued sweet bready, toasted malts, little toffee apple, grassy hop. Flavour is composed of light semi sweet malts, licks of toffee and hedgerow grassy hop. Pretty standard boring gear. Palate is semi sweet ok cask condition, rounded finish.

Cask at Queens Hotel Spoons (or whatever this place is called). The one tick from their Ale Festival they had on. Sweet fruit aroma - what there is of it. Dark gold, flat, no head. Light bitterness. Watery, but with a slightly acidic mouthfeel. Fruits, more bitter in terms of finish, the blackberries mentioned in tasting notes coming through. Pretty average gold.

Cask @ Railway, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a creamy head. Not high on flavours with a low bitterness, this is a crisp ale with a pleasant mouth feel.
