Can from Livonia Liquor about 10 months old. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a finger of beige head that lingers, then dissipates. Toasted nuts, bit of caramel and coffee on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Easy drinking, some light molasses notes on the finish with some light peppery hops. Pretty good brown that has held up really well.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, dark orangey brown with a beige head. Sweet nutty candy-like aroma. Medium body, subtle roast, sweet nuts, dried fruits - quite complex in both aroma and flavours, but also rather different from a very traditional British Brown Ale. I really enjoyed it. 190218

On Tap clear deep chocolate brown. Thin fine light tan head. Standard chocolaty light roast malt aromas. Middle of the road light roast flavors. Pleasant but plain.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a brown color with a lasting finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly lace.
The aroma had a robust nutty maltiness. Light rye malt, then roast, subtle raisin all blend nicely.
The flavor brings together the previously mentioned aromas adding a touch of biscuits and caramel malts. Warming malty aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body, almost closer to medium. Somewhat sessionable. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine as projected.
Overall, nicely done brown ale that I could have again.

Mørk rødbrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, karamell, tørket frukt og noe mocca. Middels fylde. Smaker søtlig kandis, brent karamell og lett kakaopulver. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen. Kort.
