Roasted barley, along with a blend of pale/dark crystal malts and caramalt
give this red hued beer a soft maltiness with roasted notes, whilst the English/
German hop mix gives it a spicy hop character.

Hal-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at William Webb Ellis (JDW). Clear copper brown body, spotty lacing, film-type layer. Slightly roasted dark malts on the nose, hints of dark fruits. Caramel taste added by moments of stewed fruits. Bittersweet tail. Pretty nice. (Twickenham 24.10.2019).

Schön karamellig, mittig dann geile Röstnoten, flach weil wenig Carbo, englische Zapfanlagen halt. Dafür aber geiler Nitroschaum, cremig, feines Ding.

Bottle at a garden party in Shepherds Bush. I do struggle with red ales, as to me I get very little flavour from a profile that is dominated by the rich malts. The same went for this one, a great mouthfeel just not much flavour.
