Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a big beige head. Malty aroma with leather, coffee, nuts and some dried fruit. Lots of malt in the flavor along with nuts, wood, chocolate and wort. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and balanced bitterness. A nice, malty and roasted brown ale.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Södra Deer Santa ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration´, sweet malt, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle@yesprs - Brown pour with beige head. Toasted and roasted malty with notes of caramel and toffee, some herbal hoppy backing into the close.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight caramelish. Sweet and toasted malty. Caramelish to breadish malty. Toasted far finish.

Bottled 330ml. -Darker amber coloured, small pale beige head, vinous caramel nose. Acidic malty, caramel, nutty, faint notes of chocolate with short sweetish finish. So-so.

Fra flaske på DSJT, Cardinal nov-16: mørk rødbrun med ok skum. emmen bærsyrlighet sammen med litt tørkede frukter, ristet brød og noe urteaktig. Blir helt uinteressant i denne sammenhengen.
