The best of the Old and New World IPAs.
With English Maris Otter and Munich base malts providing the rich complex base we get a classic ale with a distinctive malty/nutty/biscuity flavour. We use a traditional, yet unusual as it is inhouse propagated, English ale yeast to get enhance the malt flavours and give a slightly sweeter finish. The beer is quite bitter and for aroma we add Simcoe and Centenniel hops to get an intense floral and citrus flavour that completes that last little detail for our vision of a perfect IPA.

Draught @ BBB. Pours clear deep golden / pale Amber with a rather small frothy and creamy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sparse lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly malty and fruity with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, peaches, lychee, passion fruit, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty, slightly fruity, grassy and floral. Mouthfeel is round, slightly dry, heavy astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, caramel, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, moist grass, pine needles, rooibos and lemon peal. Well made but way too bitter for me. Draught at All In Beer Fest 2015. Almost clear deep golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, bread, light biscuit, toast and mango. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, citrus, tangerine and light grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice!
