(Tap) hazy, bright, dark brown color with a small tan head; aroma of cinnamon, apple pie; dryish flavor with a long, light bitter finish, smooth palate, very nice

On tap at Upstream, pours a deep burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with Christmas spices, especially nutmeg and gingerbread, with a touch of cinnamon and bready caramel. Flavour tastes like a sweet gingerbread cookie, with lots of nutmeg and cinnamon, followed by caramel and bready toffee. I usually don't care for these highly spiced beers, but this is done very well.

Looks like they rebrewed it after a number of years. Poured a slightly cola color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some sweet malts, lots of Christmas spices - nutmeg, some ginger, cinnamon, and clove. Clove is an iffy spice for me, sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't. It was just okay this time around for me.
