Cask at Mr Grundys, Derby Pours a deep chestnut brown with a tight white head and good lacing. Not a particularly distinctive nose – just some vague aroma of oranges and chestnuts. In the mouth it starts off as caramel briefly, before passing on to mainly oranges with hints of nuts and berries. Finish is quite sharp. Quite nice – one of their better ones.

Clear red beer with a thin white head. Nutty in aroma and smell. It’s a touch sickly with fruit. Nice enough but not one I’d dash back to.

Burnley Beer Festival 2015. Copper coloured ale. Has a grainy-sweet character and tasty for it. Has some extremely light roasted malt notes.
