Can. An oily pour reveals a headless, still dark, dark brown body. The aroma has a spiced, chemical touch, with roasted malts, toffee, coffee hints, licorice and brown sugar. Alcohol. It's full-bodied and warming, softly carbonated, quite sweet, with mostly malty flavors. Roasted malts, toffee, dark chocolate, some spices and licorice, with boozyness and and a touch of hops. Lasting finish. Really delicious this one, but there's a spiced touch resembling fluor that I'm not too impressed of. 241226

Black with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of wooden barrels, dried fruit and roasted malt. Sweet with a warm wooden barrels and dried fruits end.

330 ml can in cardboard cylinder (Berserk series), at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 12%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Distinct boozy aroma of dark rum and oak, hints of fusel and molasses. Warming mouthfeel. Etter halvannet år i ørkenen, endelig kan vi hygge oss på ølfestival! På Malt&Humle (Gladmaten -21) sammen med Håkon (alle ølene var 10 cl fra fat): nesten helt svart og nesten uten skum. Sviskeplommer og tørkede frukter, portvinsvinøs med tydelige toner fra fatlagringen - vanilje/eik, mørke dessertchokolader, noe muscovadoaktig og en mersmak som er på grensen til det sublime. Jeg følte meg definitivt som et bedre menneske etter denne.
