Murky brown a lot of port, brown sugars and plums. Sweet ok depth. Alcohol well hiddden. A decent middle of the road perfectly acceptable dubbel

750ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber-ish brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Dark malty, fruity aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, plum, apple, hints of chocolate and caramel, a touch of marzipan. Taste is sweet, dark malty, fruity, notes of dried fruit, raisin, apple, hints of plum, marzipan, some chocolate and caramel; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Oily texture, soft and minimally sticky palate.

[ As Iron Fist Dubbel Fisted ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy yeast, caramel, yeast, tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle - Rich malts and cocoa with a touch of raisin. Deep brown with a creamy beige head. Sweet raisin and some nice malts with a bit more of the light cocoa. Quiet nice.

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours clear copper with a creamy, tan head. Sugary bready malts and toffee in the aroma, along with some ripe fruits. Medium sweet flavour with light alcohol notes, toasted grains, some brown sugar. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, with more grains, booze, toasted bread. Fine overall.

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Dusty bottle from the Chris O archives. Clear amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweet malts, some caramel, tasting a little oxidised tired. Mild dried fruits. Light finis. Spicy linger. Okay.

75 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted and yeasty. Sweet, toasted and slight caramelish. Dry and toasted malty finish.
