On tap at the brewery on 12/05/2009. Fairly clear copper body with a medium creamy tan head. Sweet bourbon and vanilla aroma. Sweet bourbon and vanilla flavor with some light caramel. Medium full body with moderately low carbonation.

This beer was a surprise. Poured from tap a red amber color with a small white head. Aroma is bourbon, sweet, with hints of both regular and brown sugar. The flavor is pretty heavy on the bourbon alcohol, with touches of hops, sweet malts.

Sampled on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a medium head. Average head retention and nice lacing. The nose is nice with notes of bourbon, maple and vanilla. Taste is lightly toasted malts, bourbon, light nutty notes, faint oak and a strong pine-like hoppiness. I found this one too bitter. Medium bodied.
