Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, a bit old it seems. Taste malts, sweet hops, medium bitter. Unbalanced and all over the place imo. Not very good unfortunately.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. Amber pour with a white head. Rich floral and citrus nose. Nice. Oozes booze in the flavour. Tongue tingling flavours of bitter citrus and fresh herb. Quite a throat warmer. Huge, boozy finish. Exceedingly tasty.

Location: 750 ml bottle shared from State Line, 2/9/15
Aroma: Heavily Belgian nose, some spice, clove, banana, candied sugar, and some dark fruit
Appearance: A slightly cloudy orange pour with a small off-white head and some sticky lacing
Flavor: Tastes along the same lines, heavy spice, sweetness, finishes a little bitter and more spice
Palate: The body is fairly full, sticky mouthfeel, average-to-lively carbonation, and a long duration
Overall Impression: This one leans much closer to the Belgian yeast side than it does to the IPA. Heavy and sticky. If you promise in the label that you "hopped the (expletive deleted) out of it," I need more hops than this.

Tap at Brouwerβs - turbid orange - nose of juicy, citrusy american hops, place some tropical esters - low carbonation - sweet and intensely.tropical in flavor - noticeable alcohol, but fairly subdued for something so.strong - light phenolics late that play off the hops pretty well - good for something so.strong.
