Not much aroma. Hoppy on the palate like a stronger APA or mild IPA. Has a decent smoothness about it. Looks like a pale lager.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head recedes to coat surface. Slightly sour caramel aromas. Smooth and bitter throughout - but not a hoppy bitter - more of a strong bitter root flavor.

12 oz. bottle. SIngle bottle rack at Sam’s, Downers Grove. Hey, I can rate a fresh Magic Hat. Pours a clear pilsner gold, thin scrap of foam atop. Smell is mostly light fruit. Taste has a lot of spices new even to spice beers. I presume that’s from poppy… —Poppiesssss! PAAAH-PIES will put them to sleep! SLEEEEEEP! Now they’ll sleep!— Oh, I just couldn’t resist. Dryness from brewing with nectar. A little tart, but not really sour as we know sour beers. Mouthfeel carbonation matches well with the flavor. Putting this spice combo against a pils was a good match. I like it; a nice harbinger of spring weather.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a light golden color with a medium head. Poor head retention and fair lacing. Aroma is initally grassy and then strong agave notes. Taste is very dry and bitter with the agave and poppy coming through strongly. Big grain notes as well. Medium bodied. Weird, but I kinda like it.
