Bottle from Queen City on 02/17/2009. Clear copper amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet honey, sugar and caramel aroma. Sweet honey, sugar, caramel and light fruit flavor with light spicy notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a slightly creamy mouthfeel.

12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with a medium head. Poor head retention and a weak attempt at lacing. Aroma is green apple, biscuits and butterscotch. The taste is very bready with sugary malt notes and subtle bitterness. There is a subtle twinge of something off in the finish. Medium bodied.
