Entered to celebrate my rating number 13,300. Draft at Stone Bistro as Double Bastard French Oak. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, and oak. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, oak, and over ripe fruits. Thick body.

On tap at the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens on 08/03/2008 on day three of RBSG 2008. 2006 Vintage with French Oak. Clear caramel body with a small tan head. Big vanilla oak aroma with some caramel. Big caramel and light vanilla oak flavor. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

From tap at Stone Bistro, as Double Bastard French Wine Barrels. Pours hazy brown with a lacing tan head. Dense wineous aroma with a dense caramel presence. Smooth and very grape fruity flavour. Dense caramel presence. Mild spiced too. Warming finish.
