One of the most popular Belgian beer styles. Dominant aromas of biscuit and ester component (apple) are followed by a distinctive aroma of anise. Yummy as a caramel and fairytale-like the color of his eyes. Deep into the shades of Plavo.

Bottle courtesy of Saxo. Nearly clear dark golden, quickly fading offwhite head. Malty, slightly yeasty aroma, light fruity notes, a touch of phenols. Sweet flavour, malty, yeasty with a little fruit and mild spice.

Draught at Kompasset Ølbar. Slightly hazy amber golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with green apples and bananas. Yeasts and a lightly toasted note. Taste is sweet. Drying fruity finish. Ok - true to style.

On tap at Majstor za Pivo, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out estery notes and Belgian yeast. Flavour is on the sweet side, with lots of candied fruity esters and Belgian yeasty sweetness. Too sweet, but still pleasant. Solid.

[ As Kabinet Plavo ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, anis seed - anis. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, belgium yeast, anis seed - anis. Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Orange, col blanc retombant rapidement. Arôme au nez esters, banana et cardamone , caramel, pâle et pils avec un léger bouquet biscuit et une pointe de crystal. Noble et herbacé complètent le houblon. Palais est belge bien rendu, le tout complete par qcq esters fruité de banane et léger sucre résiduel. Retrouve une petite douceur rappelant le chewing gum. Classique dans la lignée belge.
