Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, some caramel, mild liquorice, hint of dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Okay drinkable Stout, bit weak, not great.

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is metallic, some spices, mild dried dark fruits, coffee and mild ashes. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, mild metlalic notes with some slight toffee and mild ashes.

Flaske fra Netto Nørrebro, på hytta sep-17: brunsvart med ok skum. Dejlig aroma af røstet malt, kaffe og mørk chokolade. Smagen er også meget tilfredstillende, og den elegante bitterhed mod slutten gør det ret næmt at helde indpå.

0,5 l bottle from Meny, Blåvand, 19,95 dkr. Black in the glass, big beige head. Roasty taste, some dark fuits but also metallic hints. Dry coffee bedding. Mid class.

bottle. dark brown, smooth light brown head. faint aroma of coffee, roasted malts. Nice mild sweet flavor of roasted malts, sweet oat notes. ends with a bitterness that does not entirely match the flavor imo. a bit too industrial.

50cl bottle from a trade with rasmus40, thanks! Pours almost black with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of metallic hops, spices, some dark fruits. Taste of soft chocolate, mild roasted malt, red malt, some coffee, hints of metallic hops, nothing special.

Bottle 500ml. @ Craig’s House - Edinburgh. [ As Thisted Pilgrim ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, burnt, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, bread, dark malt, vegetables. KØLF 170616. Black colour with a tan head. Flavour is butterscotsch, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

500 ml bottle. Dark amber, close to black body with a small, tan head. Relatively strong in aroma, a fine combination of roasted barley, chocolate at coffee. Flavor is sweet malt, hint of chocolate and a bit harsh coffee. Moderate bitterness. Medium body and more dry in aftertaste. Nothing specially really, rather plain but also pleasant in a way.

50 cl. bottle while canoeing. Pitch black with a dense, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted notes, coffee and liquorice. Taste is light sweet/roasted. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with brown cookies and liquorice. Soft and mellow, yet enjoyable.
