Clear pale golden in the glass with a fine finger thick head Moderate intensity in the aroma. Pilsner ish Quite high carbonation level. Very fizzy mouth feeling Moderate sweetness Malty, some wheat, mild citric and herbal flavor Wheat beer? Hmmmm [Bottle from Foffern]

Bottle at No. 3, Mo i Rana. Clear golden body with a big, fluffy white head. Aroma is mild and quite yeasty, nothing that reminds me of a wheat really. Flavor is not much in the direction of a weissbier but light and refreshing with pale malt, a hint of wheat and hint of yeast, but not typical wheat yeast. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Not much goieng on here, but no obvious faults and definitively drinkable.

Flaske (batch 18, bb. 170618) fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen på Holmens aktivitetsdag: uklar korngul med kort skum. Søtlig aroma og smak med citrus, banan og litt mynte. Mild og rund, men alt for lite skum for en hefeweizen, og selv om den er lett å drikke er den dessverre enda lettere å glemme.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 06.05.17. Muddy peach colour. Small, white head. Fruity aroma and taste, with sweet malt and decaying banana peel. Not great.

330ml bottle from Bryggeri 13’s brewery shop, Tromso. Pours a hazy gold, no head. Aroma’s slightly sour, light yeast. Taste bears light hefe yeast with subtle banana but that’s where the similarities end, with some off-putting herbal notes. A poor homebrew effort. Needs a LOT of tweaking.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Bådin Keiservarden ].[ Courtesy of Rune ]. Unclear matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, wit bier yeast, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, sweet yeast - candy, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160515] 5-3-6-3-10

KRS 140516. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sulpur, overcooked vegetables. Flavour is citrus, malt, hop, oranges, malt, wheat, overcooked vegetables. bad beer.
