Drinking at Babington Arms before the match with Derby vs Sheffield W. Half pint, cask. Pours a fawn-coloured head with solid lacing down the glass. Close to black coloured body. Smell of brown and black malts. Caramel, oat, and a touch of smoked malts to the taste buds. Slightly roasted ending. Medium bodied. Vivid stout (21.02.2015)

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Black with a thick creamy off-white head. Has a light to medium roasted malt aroma with a milky roasted aroma taste that’s just as light, but for 5.2% this is stangely easy drinking.
