Cask at the Salvation, Preston . Pours black with a thin tan head. Strong chocolate aromas, light toffee. Taste is more of the same, dry finish.

From cask at King’s Head, Huddersfield, with JFE 19.01.18. Dark mahogany to ebony. Dense and persistent head and lacing. Aroma and taste of chocolate, coffee, pine needles,roasted malt and a hint of smoke. Medium low bitterness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

Cask (handpump) @ Babington Arms (JDW), 11-13 Babington Lane, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE1 1TA. [ As Small World Thunderbridge Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cacao. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet chocolate, cacao, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150214] 7-3-7-3-14

Fra fat på Babington Arms i Derby 21 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. Forsiktig aroma av røstet malt. Smaken litt sjokolade. Økende bitterhet. Avslutninga er kaffe. Gjennomgående forsiktig preg.

Drinking at Babington Arms before the match with Derby vs Sheffield W. Half pint, cask. Pours a fawn-coloured head with solid lacing down the glass. Close to black coloured body. Smell of brown and black malts. Caramel, oat, and a touch of smoked malts to the taste buds. Slightly roasted ending. Medium bodied. Vivid stout (21.02.2015)

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Black with a thick creamy off-white head. Has a light to medium roasted malt aroma with a milky roasted aroma taste that’s just as light, but for 5.2% this is stangely easy drinking.
