Deep dark coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, caramel and a bit of cardboard. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive roasted malts and pit fruit tastes come through with some metal and off-tastes noticeable. Aftertaste shows some caramel and toffee sweetness along with a light bitterness. Overall, a decent beer - definitely good to try here in Praha. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Tesco in Praha 1, Ceska Republica in March 2007.

bottle, 33cl, DSB. Sugar, sunburned caramel, bitter aftertaste that is a little odd/harsh. Was it not for the aftertaste this would be a good brew.

The bottle looks not bad, but somehow old. The beer in the glass is okay. The flavor is a catastrophy. Terrible malty, really penetrating. A really nasty beer.

Bottle. Brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma is malty, with some toastiness and a bit of caramel. Sweet malty flavor with a toasty and slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied with an oily texture. An OK dunkel, but nothing unusual.
