Draught@CBC2016. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, some wooden notes, mild Armagnac as well as some alcohol. Flavour is gluelike sweetness, some toffee, mild fruits as well as some nectary notes.

Amber, clear and not overly carbonated. Sweet marmalade, booze and apricot jam with lots of sugar. Taste is also super sweet, fruity and sugar crystal overripe apricot. Drinks like honey or mead. Hops there as well, leaving a nice fruity tingle and spices are there in the back if my throat.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of toffee, sweet bready malts and sweat. Flavors of rich toffee, golden raisins, doughy malts and light pine. Barrel aged IIPA or barley wine? Can’t get much barrel but a very nice barley wine ready to drink now.

Bottle. Dark-golden, thin white foam. Excellent aroma: barrel, wood, a little vanilla, fruit, raisins, white port wine, brandy. Taste: sweet port wine, a little vanilla, oak, soft hop bitterness, slightly dried fruits and raisins, sweet liquor.

Bottle from Salthouse Bottles; Brockley. Amber pour with a white head. Nose of vanilla, sweet citrus and spice. Heavy flavours of dried fruit, apricot, mango. Boozy mouthfeel. Long alcohol burn. The epitome of a slow slipping ale I feel.

hazy dark orange to amber colour, half inch dense slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of grape, overripe tropical fruits, orange, tangerine, maybe some grapefruit, too, honey and pine notes;taste is dominated by syrupy sweetness with honey, overripe orange, tropical fruits, vanilla notes, some liqueur and hints of vegetables; a bit unbalancedly sweet, but not bad at all!

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Green Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Øksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Buxton Double Axe (Barrel Aged) ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity hops, dried fruit, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, fruity hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160514] 8-3-8-3-15
