Pours a dark brown with little head. The nose shows a lot of the brett influence and hints of the roast malts. The palate is light and foamy - the tartness of the brett definitely takes front stage but the roast malts also appear in between for a few notes. It’s interesting as a beer but just not to my preference. If you enjoy this one I’d recommend zwet.be for something similar.

5/I/15 - 37.5cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: VIII/12/14 (2015-11) Thanks to jc1762 and his wife for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, sourish, bit sweet, fruity notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very minty start, sourish, citrus, funky indeed, floral notes. Aftertaste: citrus, bit sourish, pretty bitter, hoppy, not a lot of roasted flavours.

375 ml shared by Willrunforbeer. Bottled on 8-12-14 with an ABV of 7.9%. Deep dark brown, still showing white fluffy head. Aroma is sour oak, notes of Brett and stale cigarettes.

Flavor has lots of sour oak lingering throughout the sip with lots of sour Brett. I can’t taste the base porter here at all. Pretty sure the aging has taken over in this brew. Oak and Brett, if I could taste any of the base Porter, my score would be very different. Meh
