Christmas Cactus returns with an equal blend of a 21 month vintage of Who Hit John aged in a Weller Bourbon barrel, and a standout Nine Month Kingsnake Vintage aged in a Watermill Rye barrel. Let's not forget the cherry on top, (pun intended) some expressive stout aged for three months in some top notch cherry brandy barrels. Strong notes of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee with a tasteful currant and Luxardo cherry finish. Rye and oak undertones throughout complimenting the rich flavors from start to finish.

12/11/2024. Can shared by SHIG, cheers! Pours black with minimal head. Aroma is rich, fruit cake, roasted malts, woody, bourbon, dark chocolate, cherry liquor, caramel, vanilla, rye and a hint of bounty bar. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness, light warming alcohol. Full bodied, very smooth, soft carbonation. Very sippable, and dangerously drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 19/10/24. Pitch black with a khaki head that thins to spotting and edgework. Nose is fruit cake, dark malts, good bourbon hit, molasses, spice, chocolate shavings. Taste comprises chocolate, dates, light spice, molasses, brown sugar melt, hint of dried red berries, good bourbon levels. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close kissed with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy ... easy drinking and chuggable.

16oz (thx, Nick S.!) shared with Alex @ 🏡 Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: mix of barrels with bourbon and rye quite distinguishable. Taste: along the same lines, lots of barrels including the sherry one with its oxidation. Overall: quite complex and interesting.

Poured from 473mL can. Near black with minimal tan head. A bit harsh and boozy rye, feint cherry brandy notes, mild chocolate, okay.
