$1.61 bottle, TW-SP. Pours clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet fruit, brown leaf, light citrus, very faint fennel. Flavor is caramel, brown leaf, brown grass. Drinkable, worth the price, but nothing special.

Scuttlebutt Amber Ale 5.1% An opaque amber-brown with a dense light beige head that lingers. It has a really nice toffee biscuit malt aroma with some peppery spicy hop notes. Medium bodied and surprisingly dry and fruity. The taste starts off malty sweet but then gets lots of raisins and stone fruits before finishing crisp and dry. A good beer to pair with lunch. In my case yakitori tare... my favorite of three red ales... it beat out Lompoc Proletariat Red and Ballast Point California Amber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Brewklopedia, Leicester. Amber and clear with an off-white head. Resin, papaya and rubbing alcohol in the aroma. Bitter taste with a good hit of malty sweetness on the finish. Boozy aftertaste. This is really raw and messy.

355ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma: fruity hops and biscuity malt, caramel. Taste: initially quite sweet but it mellows over time, nutty biscuity malt, fruity hops. Low bitterness, low carbonation, medium body. Meh. My favourite thing about this beer is the artwork on the label.
