Bomber from Mitsuya’s Liquors. Poured into a snifter. Pours a hazy golden orange color with little to no head. Light lacing. First impression on the nose is a nice buttery chardonnay. Aromas of apple, pear, passion fruit and pepper. Sweet and peppery on the palate, but the sweetness is a little overbearing for the style. Slightly boozy as it warms up which is surprising for only 7%. Medium body with average carbonation and a peppery sweet finish. Not bad, just expecting a little more out of saison. --- Beer merged from original tick of Farm Out Saison on 31 Mar 2015 at 20:31 - Score: 7

Bottle at Imazato. Pale gold, thick low head. Spicy as hell, a bit sour, creamy, grainy. Sweet yeasty flavor, full body with peaches and orange. Don’t like this sweet, heavy, yeasty American saisons.

Draft - Lemon, pale malt and pineapple. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Sweet pineapple, fruity esters, light lemon and a sweet finish. I love pineapple and therefore love this, but very juice like and sweet. Finish has some yeasty notes and mellow bitterness.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. Moderately spicy, quite sweet and mellow, simple cereally malt profile, a bit fruity. Ordinary bitterness. Like most American Saison.

On tap. Pours a dark clear gold with moderate head. Aromas of yellow plums, spice and apples. Flavors of fruity esters, applesauce, light spice and light Belgian yeast. A nice mixture of flavors. Refreshing.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse notes, Belgian yeast, and light crackery malt. Flavour is a little buttery, with notes of Belgian yeast and cereal malt. A little too buttery but still decent.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a hazy straw topped with a fluffy white head. Nose is lemon citrus spice and some bread malts. Taste is as the nose with a nice sweet malt and a touch of spice.

On tap at Bier:Thirty, Boise at the Worthy Brewing Tap Tap Take-Over Hazy pale golden, witha small white skin. Lightly spicy bready aroma. Some citrus spics in the flavor and a cereal sweetness. A touch of lemon zest and just a hint of bitter at the end. Very nice, but 7%+ Saison ?!

Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a rich three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of alcohol, bananas, yeast, coriander seed and quite a bit of light fruit - oranges and bananas especially. Medium-bodied; good yeast flavour throughout with a herbal kick, some lighter coriander seed flavours and a bit of curacao. Aftertaste shows some nice herbal and grassy notes throughout with a little alcohol and a lot of yeast. Overall, a nice grassy and herbal beer with a ton of flavours from spices and yeast and less from malt and sugars. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon a few hours ago on 07-December-2013 for US$4.99 sampled in my hotel room here in Portland on 07-December-2013.
