Draught at Row 34, 10/10/16.
Very light, beeswax-tinted blonde-golden. Small white head shows moderate retention.
Light maltiness initially which is delicate and full of wildflower honey character. Light brett notes are dainty as well. Seems like nothing here is even remotely rich or aggressive. Floral, with clean lemon and rosewater. Very light funk on the finish with no sign of lactic or acetic acids. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth itβs very well-malted yet of course very well-attenuated. Tight carbonation gives the beer a very substantial body and yet the tart, citrusy brett and light honey and hay notes all scream delicate and incredibly drinkable. Various fruity esters from the Sacc. yeasts provide additional depth of character. Just a touch of PNW dry hopping on the end, as well. Lovely balance here amongst all elements of the beer.
