A Solar Flare is a powerful Fluctuation of electromagnetic energy from the suns surface that creates a smaller irradiance on earth, or in this case a smaller beer created from Fluctuation. We used a downsized Fluctuation grain bill along with loads of citra and our energy process for the first time in a single ipa to give you all the tropical flavors you would find in Fluctuation but on a smaller scale. Expect an aroma and flavor of passion fruit, pineapple, mango, and bright citrus with a soft but pointed bitterness, but in a summer crusher form.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dirty orange to brown color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy, light passion fruit, mangoes and gooseberry-like hop tones; clean malt backbone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet and underscored by a light tart tone; finishes semi-dry with mostly miexed citrusy to mango hop tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; light smoothness; nice low carb; low hop bitterness
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA I could return to.

Can from One Stop Market. Hazy, pale yellow (grapefruit juice/lemonade), good-sized head, fair retention, nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, light pine, herb. Taste is lemon citrus, maybe mild tropical fruit and mango. Watery texture, lively carbonation on the tip of the tongue on the swallow, dry, lingering bitter finish. Aroma and taste are fine but look and palate are a bit strange.

Murky orange with a large white head that left excellent lacing. Bitter, earthy and piney with faint notes of tropical fruit and stone fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
