Crisp deep copper and bronze coloured body with a good, three to four centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat for a while and leaves a subtle lace on the sides. Aroma of biscuits, nuts, earth, caramelised sugars and a touch of deeper, floral hops towards the end, but a strong smell throughout. Medium-bodied; Strong biscuity and very malyy flavour at first with a lot of sweetness from caramel and toffee follows right behind, along with a noticeable herbal and grainy character that makes this deeper and much more bitter than it would be with just the hops and malts. Aftertaste shows the grain, biscuits, herbs and floral elements, but some nuttiness and caramel flavours do hit hard along with a large astringency coupled with the bitterness from the alpha acids in the hops. Overall, a nice, deeper and much maltier beer than I was expecting with a lot of residual sugars and also a strong hop bite too, of course. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 02-October-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-October-2020.

Unexpectedly lovely IPA, full of big grapefruit, mandarin, stone fruit, and tropical notes, with a generous but not overbearing malt sweetness and a firm pine bitterness on the finish. Tasty.

#3 in my inauguration day ticks. OK, this one might be a little ambitius for a US inauguration, but it is true we need saving and we finally have someone who will get us in that direction. 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy orange, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of leafy hops, pale malt, some dry citrus. Taste is dank, orange, marmalade, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, well balanced. Nice non pastry IPA.

Lots of citrus. Decent malt complex. Ok but not super unique. Tap at Galaxy Hut.

Please let me start this rating by saying that this is terribly on style. So, if you like IPA, put this on your bucket list and ignore my numbers. The lower my numbers for an IPA the better it is for an IPA lover, heheeh. What a great name, like men in black, heheh. Bottle. In my steeler jack lambert glass it has a mild BO bitter nose aroma, like the smell of your favorite mate, after good sex. What else can be said? Just another microbrewer, late to the wave, making just another stupid ubiquitous, terribly bitter, terribly on style IPA? There have got to be a million of these out there and they pretty much all taste the same. A rototiller across the surface of yer taste buds, go figger. Who likes preservatives in their beer? Just asking. Can't be that enjoyable, I must be a minority. I want affirmative action on the numbers regarding my IPA ratings. Gimmie a cheap pale lager for a chaser, heheheh. No, seriously, any cheap pale lager is pretty much better than any IPA.

$1.95 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours clear golden with a soft white head. Aroma is cat piss, pine, tropical fruit. Flavor is very piney with a long lingering bite. Some citrus and hints of tropical fruit or melon, but that amazing pine bite is intense and overtakes much of the rest of the flavor. Nice.
