Decent, heavy on the Dickel and oak, with notes of chocolate, molasses, cola, caramel, and a firm woody bitterness. Comes off a bit tame on the back end, the oak dominating any lingering traces of booze. Smells nice, though.

Draft at the brewery, Nashville, TN. Pitch black pour with a very small beige head. Strong alcohol aroma. The taste is dominated by the George Dickel whiskey flavor. Not enough porter flavor and way too boozy to enjoy. Not a fan.

On tap at Flying Saucer, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels and toasted caramel. Flavour is very boozy and harsh, with lots of whiskey, alcohol and toasted malt. This isn't a well-crafted barrel aged beer - harsh and boozy. Needs work.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice whiskey note with dark grains and a good amount of bitter roasted malts. Flavor combines whiskey and dark grains nicely with roasted malts and bitter chocolate supporting.
