Seppä on nokinen, rouhea, ronski, pikimusta ja kaikin puolin vahva stout. Seppä on valmistettu kolmella eripaahtoisella ohramaltaalla ja yhdellä amerikkalaisella humalalajikkeella. Kokonaisuus on täyteläinen, runsaan paahteinen mutta kuitenkin piristävän hedelmäinen ja tasapainoinen. Bourbon -viskitynnyrien lastujen kanssa rauhassa kypsynyt stout onkin erinomainen mietiskelyolut. Idea tämän stoutin valmistukseen lähti halustamme tehdä makunsa puolesta runsas ja rikas mutta helposti vahvuutensa puolesta lähestyttävä stout. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee, vegetables and mild sewer aromas. Also pea soup and tobacco. Palate is very low on CO2. Flavour has ash, tobacco, some roastiness, mild coffee tones and some menthol. Finishes with faint traces of alcohol. Good, could work better with CO2.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2016. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeissh roasted and some wooden notes. Flavour is roasted, toffeeish, coffeeish and some wooden notes. Balanced and quite pleasant.

Dark opaque color, small brownish head. Toasted, some veggie notes, coffee. Medium-bodied. Coffee, toasted malts, veggie notes. Ok stout but lacks depth (especially for this ABV). (6/4/6/3/12 3.1)
Dark brown color, small creamy brownish head. Aroma has toasted malts, caramalt, light bourbon and vanilla. Maybe some smokeyness too. Medium-bodied. Toasted malts, smoke and vanilla. Some hops in the finish. I got much better impression from bottle and earlier from tap. (7/4/7/4/14 3.6)

Draught @ SOPP Helsinki 2016. Smell of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa. Black colour, high brown creamy head. Very plentiful and very soft carbon. Velvety palate. Medium bitter, also slightly sweet.

Tap at SOPP 2016, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, some chocolate and roasted malts.

Draught @ SOPP 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, bourbon vanilla, hints of oak and coffee. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some cocoa, coffee and hints of vanilla and oak. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some cocoa and vanilla. Okay.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2016) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, sweetness, ash, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A pretty good sweetish stout.
