Bottle. Hazy dark copper. Golden lace. Leafy citric apricot hop aroma. Dry mineral, clay, medium light, chalky melanoidin, grass finish.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden to amber colour with a huge and tanned foamy head. Bready and slightly earthy malty aroma with caramel and fruity hoppy notes of citrus, grapefruit and a tinge of jelly beans. Slightly bitter flavour, quite light bodied with a lively carbonation. Dry and a bit slim malt character with earthy notes, caramel and fruity hops; mildly caramelly and bitter hoppy finish with a moderate fruitiness. Likeable, could have had a tad more body. 20.I.17

[ As Kehrwieder Phoenix Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange - amber yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160708] 6-3-6-3-12

Bottled@PBF XI. Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is floral, some soapy notes along with a mild herbal touch to it. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral, earthy and grassy with some mild toffee to it.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured deep golden color with a thick white head. Yeasty messy aroma, malts. Flavor has citrusy hops, yeast, mild spices, high carbonation. Toffee notes in finish.

Hopfiger, leicht herber Antrunk mit weicher, nicht sonderlich starker Malzigkeit. Die Herbe steigt leicht an, milde Würzigkeit, dann wieder hopfiger und damit etwas grasig. Süffig, gut. 10/10/9/9/10/10

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally floral hoppy and spicy yeasty aroma. Taste is bitter hoppy, spicy yeasty, minimally floral, hints of bitter orange, quince, unripe yellow stone fruit. Somehow with a touch of Belgian yeast - undecidable if due to infection or intention.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, hops, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.
