13oz tap at Half Acre. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Frothy, soapy off-white head. Great citrus, tropical aroma. Massive, awesome IIPA for 2013. Big tropical tones, mango, island fruit, citrus. Quite excellent, cooling and refreshing. Some piny bite after awhile, the 10% ABV begins to show. Absolute monstrous hop tones on top of a big golden malt backbone. A beast of a beer, very reminiscent of big FFF IIPAs.

Enjoyed on tap at Half Acre Taproom in Chicago, IL. Appearance is clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is abundant in pine hops, also a touch of citrus. Taste goes down bitter, rough, but pleasant. Nice burn, tastes great fresh.

On tap at the taproom. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a strong onion note with a bit of grapefruit, grass and sweet grains. Flavor has strong onion throughout with a light sweet grain and a touch of pine. I hate onion...
