The shared vision between The Lost Abbey and Wicked Weed Brewing, a blend of beers from both breweries, Ad Idem is an Oak-aged Golden Sour w/ local whole peaches. The resulting culmination produced some incredible depth, showing how the stonefruit in the barrels played along with the blend of wild yeasts.

Bottle at WTF V. Pours a clear gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong peach flesh, funk, and oak. Thin body, light acidity, tart peach, nice funk, light dry finish, enjoyed this.

Bottle, thanks for sharing. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart fruits with a touch of veggie and oak with some light grains underlying. Flavor has a nice sour light fruit note with some oak and light grains backing.

Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Lost Abbey / Wicked Weed Ad Idem ].Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart, brett, wine, peach - grape, apple, baking yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, grapes, wine, funky, peach, baking yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20161111] 8-3-8-4-17

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is acetone and lemonish fruity. Dry, citric to sour. Mild acetone, lingering citrusy to lemonish sour. Mellow fruity and dry, slight estery and sour finish.

Bottle @ Lots of Mark Knofler and Fransk’ kartofler, Ulfborg 2016. Pours hazy golden with a small creamy head. Orange fruit, pith, wood and funk. Crispy and dry. Refreshing stuff!

Bottle, 6.2%. Hazy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, baking yeast, lemon and brett. Flavour is malt, lemon, brett, sour, tart, leather, little citric, little over carbonated, fruits, funk, medium dry and a little bitter.

Bottle @Ulfborg. Clear light golden, small white head. Yeasty aroma, brett, some fruity notes. Starts smooth, bretty, the comes a good, fruity sourness. Rather smooth with a good citrus sour bite. Lovely.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is dry, malty, bretty, lemon and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 111116

Bottle share. Golden pour with a small white head. The aroma is fruity, with lots of sour and funk. Tastes of ripe peaches with plenty of sour and funk. Nice level of Brett. Clean and sour finish, I really enjoyed this one, thanks Steve.
