12 oz bottle gifted to me by csbosox. L101821 on the label. The pour is an opaque black-brown with a limited khaki head. The aroma is big oak barrel, sugar sweet, honey, molasses, and a general malt alcohol sweetness. The taste is giant wood, booze, molasses, brown sugar sweet, and a bit o’ honey candy lingering long in the after taste. The plate is heavy bodied with almost flat carbonation, alcohol heat and sweet lingering honey molasses sugar sweetness. I guess this tasted how it was supposed to. Thanks, Chris.

Very dark brown with a medium sized foamy brown head. Exceptionally sweet with brown sugar, caramel, honey, cocoa, maple, bourbon and a bit of fruit. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

12 ounce bottle from Trenton Road Takeout in Falsington, PA. Opaque dark brown color. Brief beige head. Rich roasted malt nose hints at sweet maple and buttery bourbon. Intensely sweet roasted malt flavor. Notes of caramel, oak, vanilla and honey upfront. Warming alcohol in middle, along with toasted nuts and baking spices. With some imagination, perhaps a hint of cocoa as well. Amazingly complex despite the immense sweetness. More oakiness on the backend.

Bottled October 18th 2021 with a 2 year enjoy by date.
It pours a black cola colour with a steady finger of tan foam.
Smell is cocoa sweet, some spice, roasted malt, no detectable bitterness.
The taste is super sweet, cocoa, milk chocolate, some vanilla, no bitterness, little spice if any. Good amount of heat from the abv.
Fullish body.
Nice beer after sipping on hop bombs, for sure.
