A best bitter. A smooth bitterness and aroma with a fresh fruity finish, crafted with Crystal Malt and roasted barley, Bramling Cross and Golding hops, Welsh water and Grey Trees’ passion.

Cask handpull at The Made Inn Ashford Clear amber brown colour lasting beige head. Caramel brown bitter aroma. Yep decent condition and temperature. Some digestive biscuit. Some caramel. Some white pepper dryness on the finish. Some sweetness. Decent I thought. very drinkable.

Cask @ Hop In Beer and Gin House, Brecon. Pours clear amber, no real head to speak of. Aroma is herbal, nettley. Taste is fruity, leafy, bitter, herbal, nutty malts.. thin watery body.. borderline whether it's on the turn, or just not very good. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Hazy pale amber colour, tall frothy off-white head, good retention, good lacing. Rather weak aroma, pale malts, grain, overripe apple, leafy hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, nice no nonsense bitter.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 24/3/1018. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, a touch of caramel, leafy hops, slightly toasty malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
