The beer that helped build our brewery; Bell’s Amber Ale features both toasted and sweet caramel notes from carefully selected malts, balanced with herbal and citrus hop aromas. Capped by a clean bitterness, it’s incredibly versatile with food, but very tasty on its own.

On tap at New Belgium Denver Airport, pours an opaque dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose has lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and very subdued resinous hops. Flavour is well-balanced, with a sturdy bready malt base, a hint of dried caramel, and some resinous hoppy bitterness. By the books, classic American amber. Solid.

On tap at New Belgium - DEN. Pours a murky ruddy brown with a beige head. Dry caramel and toasted bready malts on the nose. Flavour has dry bread crusts, dry grass, resin. Nice bitterness, solid malts.

Bottled. Pours cloudy amber with white head. Some malty caramelness and some hops kick. Pretty well balanced beer.

18th Dec 2019, on-tap pint in Board and Brew, Laguna Niguel. As you might surmise from it's name; it's amber in colour, the off-white head solid and stable. Malty nose and base taste, light floral and citrusy hop action for balance. Glad I finally got round to having one.
