Rogue Fresh Roast is made with Rogue Farms barley fresh roasted at the brewery. The barley is taken directly out of the roaster and rushed 273 feet over to the brew kettle. We don’t think it gets much fresher than that, and we know you’ll taste the difference.

Bottle from Just In Beer, Groningen. Nice roasted malt aroma with coffee, chocolate, caramel, a hoppy/fruity hint, light on the nuts, just lots of dark roast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter roasty finish. Body is medium. Quite a tasty Brown.

Bottled. Deep reddish brown with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma of roasted., some nutty notes as well as mild burnt sugar and some toffee. Flavour is chocolate, roast, nuts and some floral and mild ripe fruits.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate, black bread, dried fruit, dates, prunes and spicy hints of nutmeg and coconut. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, black bread, liquorice, nuts, dried fruit, dates and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Really fresh and tasty brown ale, leaning in the porter direction. Very nice.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with a reddish hue and a small, roughish beige head. Nose is mainly sweet vanilla roast. Medium body, soft on the palate, again a pleasant roastiness, hint of coffee and a slight roasty bitterness. But all in all a smooth and pleasant Brown Ale. 171219
