Cask, gravity at Festival bar, Shrewsbury Folk Festival Friday 28th August 2015 Pours dark gold sliding towards amber this is a malty yet also hoppy little number (the malt edging it) I note that this has Cascade hops and they do show well. Like it. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. Pours amber with thin bubbly head. Faint whispers of citrus but generally struggling to pick out much in terms of American hops. Mild bitter finish. Rather bland.

1st May 2015: hand-pulled half-pint in the Crown Inn, Oakengates. Amber to golden pour with a white head. Fruity nose with a malty background, taste leads with a hop rush, the malts sweetening the brew before the hops reassert themselves giving a bitter finish.

Cask @ Thomas Rigby’s, Liverpool. Tawny golden-amber in colour with a bubbly head. Has a slightly soured fruity nose, with a more stewed taste, but still fruity.
